3/26/2026 I Am Not AI

I may have hallucinated once (it was the 70's!) I may have lied once... or twice. I am a font of experience and information; and so is AI. However, hallucinations, fabrications, and outright lies are essentially built into our current AI experience. In my rebellious twenties, I had qualms about the seductive claims of abundant leisure and ubiquitous efficiency proffered by the impending computerized world. I believed digitization could somehow ruin reading and research. Fahrenheit 451 by keystroke would leave literal book burning in the dust.
Now when most of my youthful conspiracy theories have morphed into actual facts, I'm not surprised that the most controversial actress of 2026 (and its only March) is AI creation Tilly Norwood.

Her creator, Eilene Van der Velden, says she's just having fun. As a card-carrying member of SAG/AFTRA, I say the "fun" is just about to end. Tilly isn't the only high-profile female figment grabbing the spotlight.

While we are at war, I mean excursion in Iran, wearing stilettos onboard warship in the Strait of Hormuz is suspect. This female military influencer may not have a heart, but she has over 1 million Instagram followers. Jessica has also been "pictured" holding a high-powered weapon and walking the tarmac with Trump.
I say all that to say, these are not real women. I am a real woman. More on my "conspiracy" theory about the future of biological womanhood to follow.
BTW, thank you sooo much for being here! I've been preoccupied with my duties directing Dust of Egypt at the Sheen Center thru 3/29 and have neglected my beloved members. Please know that I appreciate you more than I can say.
